Annual Artisan Gift Shop/holiday sale FAQ
Q: What type of art are you looking for to sell in your Gift Shop/Holiday Sale?
A: Woodworking, ceramics, knitting, crochet, jewelry, post cards, self-published books, self-publish CDs, soaps, candles, jams, jellies, honey, and pet toys & treats.
Please refrain from art that is wall hanging focused. Due to the nature of the Gift Shop/Holiday Sale, we do not have space for these works. Instead, please look at our Art Gallery submission guidelines.
Q: Why should I sell at the EOH Annual Artisan Gift Shop/Holiday Sale?
A: With a wide array of patrons visiting EOH for our performing season, art galleries, art classes, and our community centered events, exhibiting artisans’ work is seen by hundreds of people throughout the year.
Q: I’m confused on how to label my items. How does the Artist Code and Item Code work?
A: The Artist Code is three letters; this is normally the artists initials or the initials of their artist organization. For Example, the Earlville Opera House’s Artist Code is EOH. ** Please note if artist codes overlap, the Earlville Opera House will contact new artists on choosing a new artist code. ** Item Codes are a composite of the Artist Code with two numbers at the end, I.E. EOH01. Artists should label items by similar description and same price value.
Example: EOH01 (EOH T-shirt) $XX, EOH02 (EOH Mug) $X, EOH03 (EOH Tumbler) $Y, etc.
Q: Is there someone who can help me with this process?
A: Yes! Please call our office at 315.691.3550 or email [email protected].
